Cryolipolysis is a safer, non-surgical alternative to liposuction. It is a leading fat reduction and body contouring treatment to eliminate stubborn fat that is hard to shift with diet and exercise.

Cryolipolysis is usually carried out by the use of a vacuum, however at VSR Aesthetics we utilise the latest technology of Cryo Pads. There are a number of advantages of the use of Cryo Pads over the use of a vacuum, including:

 

• Greater comfort

• The ability to treat multiple areas simultaneously

• Better coverage of the treatment area, ie, when treating a large area the Cryo Pads can be placed directly against one another but when using the Vacuum, on the same large area, some small areas can be missed due to the shape of the Vacuum

• Better distribution of the Cryolipolysis vs the Vacuum which concentrates the treatment within a specific area

• Bruising post-treatment is unlikely

 

The Cryo Pads combine the technology of Cryolipolysis and Electroporation. Electroporation increases the permeability of the cell membrane which results in a greater effectivity of the Cryolipolysis treatment.

 

After the application of the Cryo Pads, we then use Shock Wave Therapy to tighten any loose skin. Shock Wave Therapy is scientifically proven to improve collagen structure, skin connective tissues and blood circulation. Shock Wave Therapy is especially effective after Cryolipolysis as it enables the fat reduction to occur at twice the normal rate for the first 4 weeks. Not only does Shock Wave Therapy tighten loose skin, it also increases the firmness and elasticity of the skin, reduces cellulite and induces the production of collagen.
